Thomas Moecker presents modular elements from the installation ‚Ruin’ (2009): Objects, Images, and Sculptures. Ordinary, everyday objects such as carpets or chandeliers refer to social or developmental abysses or disparities through minimal estrangements in function and form. Waiving industrial perfection and appealing to traditional craftsmanship, the works examin the peculiarities of power structures and questions of their representation.
